Better Waste Services Live: Garden Waste 2024

Tusday 2nd July 2024
Park Regis, 160 Broad Street, Birmingham, B15 1DT

#GardenWaste2024

Following the success of our very first in-person event last September, we’re back with another live event, this time focusing on garden waste.

This free event will explore the current landscape of garden waste services. With industry experts and local councils in attendance, Better Waste Services Live: Garden Waste 2024 will provide an unmissable opportunity for local authorities to share knowledge and success stories, and drive progress within garden waste.

As part of this event, we’ll also be presenting an award for the Best Chargeable Garden Waste Solution. We know first-hand how hard council teams work to deliver garden waste services and we believe they should be recognised for their commitment to excellence. Entries for the award are open now, and we’ll announce the winner at the event.

So, book your free place now and join us for a day of invaluable insights:

About the Garden Waste 2024 Event

This event will focus on garden waste management, including the pursuit of more effective
waste solutions, and local councils methods for going chargeable with garden waste.

At Permiserv, we have made it our business to learn everything about garden waste and
have worked with councils’, learning from their experiences to create a tailor-made, hugely
beneficial product that helps manage this service, saving you time and money. Using this
knowledge, we decided to host a free event calling in on numerous councils that are willing
to share and educate to help other councils on the journey to go chargeable with garden
waste with guest speakers discussing success stories and opportunities.

We look forward to seeing you at our event and if you feel there is a particular subject you
would like covered please contact rebecca@permiserv.com and we will see what we can do
to make sure that it is included in the day.

Award Presentation

Deadline: 28th June and the winner will be announced live at the event.

As part of this event, we are running the prestigious Best Chargeable Garden Waste
Solution Award
, to be presented on the day.

This award is designed to acknowledge and honour local authorities that have demonstrated
excellence in garden waste management. It recognises outstanding achievements in garden
waste management, celebrating those who lead the way in efficiency, innovation, and
service excellence.

From the entries we will use this to better help other councils move forward, and hopefully
be inspired for future years. The award is open to both chargeable and free-of-charge (FOC)
services.

Good luck to all entrants!
